Adult Faith Formation
The ongoing development and enrichment of adult faith has been recognised as a priority by the church over the past 25 years. However the difficulties posed by the questions where, when and how this will take place have seemed at times insurmountable and have caused a lot of people to be discouraged in the task.
The lessons of past experience point to the necessity of making the most of whatever informal opportunities arise and to try and organise the faith development of adults around their needs. With this in mind the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre will endeavour to enrich the faith of adults by assisting parishes in their attempts to use to the whatever educational opportunities arise particularly in the preparation of adults for their children’s reception of first communion and confirmation.
