Conclusion of the Jubilee Year of Mercy in the Diocese of Kilmore
The conclusion of the Jubilee Year of Mercy will be celebrated by Pope Francis with a special Mass of Thanksgiving in St. Peter’s Basilica on the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, Sunday 20 November 2016.
The end of the Jubilee Year of Mercy will be marked in dioceses throughout the world on Sunday 13 November 2016, the thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time.
In the Diocese of Kilmore, Bishop Leo O’Reilly will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving and the Closing of the Holy Door next Sunday, 13 November 2016, at 11:30a.m.
Masses of Thanksgiving and the Closing of the Holy Doors in the other designated Jubilee churches in the diocese will take place as follows:
St. Patrick’s Church in Ballinamore – Sunday 13 November 2016 at 11:00a.m.
St. Clare’s Church in Manorhamilton – Sunday 13 November 2016 at 11:30a.m.
St. Anne’s Church in Bailieborough – Sunday 4 December 2016 at 10:00a.m.
