LISTENING WITH THE EAR OF THE HEART – “New Ways to Encounter the Divine” Workshop with Nóirín Ní Riain

Nóirín Ní Riain

Nóirín Ní Riain, the world acclaimed spiritual singer and theologian will facilitate a unique one-day Exploration of Spirituality workshop in the Diocesan Pastoral Centre on Saturday 27 September 2015 beginning at 10:00a.m.

The workshop is available for everyone who is seeking peace, spirituality and comfort in their lives and in their relationship with God.  The workshop will include reflections on scripture, poetry, chant, gentle movement, sharing and humour.

God is omnipresent in our every experience although we have somehow forgotten how to really listen to that presence in our inner world.

During the workshop, participants will imagine and explore how to really listen and respond to that urgent, subtle, secret, Divine energy that is a possibility for each one of us and awaits us until we were ready to emerge.

The workshop promises to bring us closer to renewing the power, the healing, the imagination which frames so much of life through story, song and prayer.

It will be a day for ‘heart’ matters when the ‘ear of the heart’ is the spring through which God is invoked and called forth.

Nóirín will lead participants very gently through the day to acknowledge and give thanks for the great gifts that belong to each one of us.

In her own nourishing and light-hearted way, Nóirín will open those attending out to embrace and harvest the tenuous realms of change in our own hearts at this Autumn threshold of nature’s mantle around us.

This is a day for every seeker and searcher and absolutely no qualification or skill is required. Simply bring a heart willing and open to the shorelines of a new world of experience, a new path of gracious presence.
