Celebrating Priesthood in the Diocese of Kilmore in this Year of Prayer for Vocations (9):
I had a very serious accident in 2010. Unfortunately I had serious damage to 3 bones in my back. Our local parish priest heard of my accident and decided to call to our home. From that day we connected as very close and personal friends. His hand of healing, his personal touch and his friendship was unbelievable. Thankfully I got better and due course our priest got me involved in many parish activities. He has certainly made our home a very happy home down the years. We, as a family, miss him from the kitchen table and are most grateful for his friendship. I would probably class him as “A SAINT”.
