Diocese rejoices at the ordination of Rev. Jordan Mac Gabhann to the Priesthood
Last Sunday was a very joy-filled day for the Diocese of Kilmore when Bishop Martin Hayes ordained Reverend Jordan Mac Gabhann to the priesthood at a joyful and beautiful Mass in the Cathedral of Saint Patrick and Saint Felim, Cavan. The day was blessed with glorious sunshine which reflected the celebratory atmosphere in the Cathedral and the happiness of those who attended, particularly his mother Majella and the extended family and circle of close friends.
Fr Jordan will celebrate his First Mass of Thanksgiving in St Mary’s Church, Staghall (Parish of Drumlane), on Monday 24 June 2024, the Solemnity of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist, at 7:00p.m.
Please pray for him as he gives his life in the service of the Church as a priest in the Diocese of Kilmore. We thank God for his vocation and pray that God will bless him always.
