Diocese represented at World Youth Day 2023

This week, across Lisbon in Portugal, thousands of young people are gathering in prayer, song and worship.

1600 pilgrims are expected to travel from Ireland to represent their parish and diocese.

This festival is led by Pope Francis as he tells all the young people that “Gods hearts beats uniquely for you”

As young people waved flags from more than 190 nations represented at World Youth Day, let’s pray for Olivia Murphy and Paula Konior who are there representing the Diocese of Kilmore.

This is a week-long festival that happens every four years.

Its gives young people that chance to deepen their faith and grow personally and spiritually alongside hundreds of thousands with shared interests and ambitions.
