Jubilee Year of Hope Celebrated in Rossinver

Approximately 400 people attended Mass and the Blessing of Graves, in pleasant weather conditions, at the site of Gubalaun (St Maedhog’s) Abbey in Rossinver, Co. Leitrim, on Sunday 3 August last.  Bishop Martin Hayes was the principal celebrant of the Mass and was assisted by Fr John Sexton, Administrator of the local parish of Ballaghameehan-Kiltyclogher.

The Mass was one in a series of events in the Diocese of Kilmore for the Jubilee Year of Hope.
