The Opportunity:
As part of our outreach programme in Ireland we work with parishes across the Island of Ireland to raise awareness about global justice issues. The Laudato Si’ Project Officer works to deliver the Laudato Sí Project, managed by Trócaire in collaboration with the Laudato Sí’ Movement. The Officer will be part of the Trócaire Ireland Division Outreach Team focusing on public engagement with clergy and the lay faithful across Ireland on Laudato Sí’. The role will involve close collaboration within Trócaire and externally with key stakeholders

Requirements:
You will report to the Church Manager. The job opportunity will be offered on a specified purpose contract (expected duration of 12 month) and is based in Maynooth. As part of your role, you will manage a student intern from a Third Level Institution
The Laudato Si’ Project Officer works to deliver the Laudato Sí Project, managed by Trócaire in collaboration with the Laudato Sí’ Movement. The officer will primarily aim to foster climate justice and care for the environment with all key stakeholders.
