New Resources for the Month of November

The Northern Pastoral Network (comprising of the Archdiocese of Armagh and the Dioceses of Clogher, Derry, Down & Connor, Dromore, Kilmore and Raphoe) has prepared a simple resource for prayer at home during the month of November which can be accessed at the following link: november-a-month-to-remember-npn

The short booklet highlights the month of November as a time to remember and pray for our dearly departed. It marks out the feast days, provides a family prayer service, instructions to prepare a sacred space in the home and some additional prayers for this time. 

Dioceses are encouraged to circulate the resource to priests and parishes to encourage households to mark this special month of remembrance with some time for prayer together. May it bring comfort, solace and the light of Christ to many people during the coming days and weeks.

The resource can now be downloaded from the new NPN website: www.northernpastoral.network where it is linked from the homepage.

The daily prayers were specially composed by members of the Network and have been created as images for social media.  These will be posted each morning of November at 8am. The images can also be found on the website: www.northernpastoral.network/novemberprayers
