Prayer for Those Abused by Members of the Church – Cavan – Good Friday 2017
Following the request of Pope Francis to the Irish bishops to hold a day of prayer for people who have been abused by members of the Church, we in the Diocese of Kilmore are organising a prayer service dedicated to those who have been abused and their families.
The prayer service will take place on Good Friday, 14th April next in the Cathedral of St Patrick and St Felim, Cavan. It will take the form of ‘Prayer Around the Cross’, from 9pm to 10pm. This prayer is for those abused by members of the Church but all are welcome and we encourage everyone to attend to show support and solidarity.
