Synodal Sunday Reflection – 2 July 2023

Martin Kennedy, Diocesan Delegate and Member of the Kilmore Diocesan Synodal Team, invites us to take a closer look at Matthew’s Gospel to understand this week’s reading, which can be read through an ‘all or nothing’ lens that pitches a religious elite against people who live their faith in and through their ordinary lives. But Matthew’s Gospel as a whole story challenges such a narrow reading.
