Synodal Sunday Reflection – 20 August 2023
Sr Kathleen McGarvey, OLA Sister and founder of the Women’s Interfaith Council, invites us to see the Canaanite woman in this Sunday’s Gospel passage as a teacher, not only of the disciples but also of Jesus, helping him to understand his mission in a much more inclusive and all-embracing way. Sr Kathleen was a member of the online Irish delegation for the Continental Stage of the Synod held in Prague last February.
