VISIT OF THE RELICS OF ST. OLIVER PLUNKETT ON TUESDAY 9 JUNE 2015
The relics will arrive at the Centre at 10:00a.m. and will be available for veneration until 10:00p.m. that evening
• Sacrament of Reconciliation: 12 noon to 1:00p.m.; 4:30p.m. to 5:30p.m.; and 6:30p.m. to 7:45p.m.
• Lunch-time Mass in the Chapel at 1:15p.m. will be offered by Fr. Enda Murphy, Diocesan Director of Pastoral Services & Youth Ministry for those doing examinations around this time
• Early-evening Mass in the Chapel at 5:45p.m. celebrated by Fr. Tom McManus, PP Corlough and Drumreilly Lower. World premiere of Paul Flynn’s new musical setting of the Mass to honour the 1,400th anniversary of the death of St. Columban.
• Mass at 8:00p.m. – Principal Celebrant & Homilist: His Eminence, Cardinal Seán Brady, Archbishop-Emeritus of Armagh. Ballyconnell Church Folk Group will lead the singing.
• A Novena of Masses is being offered in honour of St. Oliver Plunkett. Petitions may be sent to the St. Oliver Plunkett Novena, Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cullies, Cavan. All petitions received will be placed beside the relic during its visit and in front of the Blessed Sacrament at all other times.
